Governmental and Institutional Travel and Tourism is a very important niche market in the conference and conventions sector. The specialisation course is accredited by UNITAR. Subject to licensing arrangements Malta will be eligible for certification as accredited destination for such tourism by UNWTO associate Tourism Optimizer Platform (TOP).
100 Study Bursaries: English for the Tourism & Hospitality Sector + Offering discounted fees for Tertiary Education programmes offered from world leading accredited education institutions.
English language training for 100 front liners in the tourism and hospitality sector + Opportunities to access to amongst the leading accredited tertiary education programmes from across the world. These include accredited doctorate qualifications, post graduate degrees, degrees, diplomas, and certificates.
Eligibility for “In Partnership” digital logo and plaque for those organisations whose staff participate in the Forbes Travel Guide Online Luxury Service
Organisations whose staff will participate in the Forbes Travel Guide Online Luxury Service Training will be eligible to display their association with MHRA, MTF, MTCP, MTA and Forbes Travel Guide by being awarded the “In Partnership” digital logo and plaque showing their commitment to creating exceptional experiences. “In Partnership” recognition requires an annual FORBES TRAVEL GUIDE licensing fee and two days of in-person training at relevant locations, in order to keep service levels high. These costs are not covered by the ‘Winning’ support programme.

A webinar will be delivered targeting youth with the objective of encouraging them to engage into studies leading to careers in the hospitality and tourism sector.

Participants will be offered guidance and coaching in relation to their career progression goals. Furthermore, in collaboration with an accredited recruitment agency, recruitment opportunities will be promoted for those seeking careers in the tourism and hospitality sectors across the Mediterranean region.
Alliance with Maltese Tourism Stakeholders & serve as learning hub for partners.
MHRA as the main representative of the tourism and hospitality sector will be with the MTCP and MTA spearheading the WINNING project amongst the key tourism stakeholders. Furthermore, the MATIS portal may serve as a promotion hub for other learning partners such as the University of Malta and the Institute for Tourism Studies.
